College of Engineering and Computer Science:The UCF College of
Engineering and Computer Science is among the nation's largest

Opportunity:The Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy
Research within the College of Engineering and Computer Science is
seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar. This academic research group
focuses on the areas of aviation, propulsion, combustion,
hypersonics, power generation, energy transformation and additive
manufacturing. This dynamic center is partnered with many prominent
engineering organizations including Siemens, Mitsubishi Power
Systems, GE and Aerojet Rocketdyne.The work is oriented on the
design and testing of various systems and components for
applications with supercritical CO2, H2/NH3, molten salt and
particle-based storage systems.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will lead a team of graduate and
undergraduate students, be responsible for leading proposal
preparation, provide reports to the project manager and assist team
management in communicating with external project partners.
Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering, Chemical and Process/Systems Engineering, or other
related fields.
