Overview AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is looking for a dynamic physician to be a part of our expanding critical care team. This position would be focused as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in our Cardiovascular ICU at our AdventHealth Orlando campus also known as our Advanced Cardiac Surgical Unit.

• Physicians will have responsibility to cover in the new, state of the art, 32 bed CVICU
• Collaborate with experienced and established intensivists, cardiology and pulmonology transplant medical/care team to help continue to grow and establish a high quality and highly sustainable Cardiovascular, Heart & Lung Transplant Critical Care program.
• Our team performs over 35-50 hearts, 15-20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD s per year with multi organ transplant capability
• Recognized as a Platinum ECMO Center and considered one of busiest centers in the Unites States
• Patient mix includes heart and lung transplants, mechanical assist devices, VV/VA ECMO
• Robust GME and ACGME programs in Orlando with Medical Students, Residents and Fellows on site
• Full Time schedule would consist of 14 shifts per month

  • Critical Care fellowship training
  • Experience with ECMO, Heart & Lung Transplant preferred
  • Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine.The Heart Lung and Vascular Institute (HLVI) at AdventHealth is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation.
